Casting Announced For Burlesque Musical

Jess Foley and Todrick Hall Are Among The Names Revealed

The stage adaptation of the acclaimed 2010 film Burlesque', which featured Christina Aguilera and Cher, has announced the casting.

The production will star Jess Folley (The Voice Kids UK and X Factor), in the lead role of Ali. Todrick Hall (American Idol) is set to bring the character of Sean to life, with Michael Mather (known from the hit channel 4 series It's A Sin') as Jackson. The cast also includes George Maguire as Vince, Billie-Kay as Sophia, B Terry as Georgie, Jess Qualter as Daphne, Yasmin Harrison taking on the dual roles of Brenda and dance captain, Lily Wang as Fifi, Hollie-Ann Lowe as Summer, and Alessia McDermott rounding out the ensemble.

The musical will start previews at the Manchester Opera House from June 13 to 29, 2024, followed by a stint at the Glasgow Theatre Royal from September 11 to 28, 2024. It will make a return to Manchester from October 3 to November 2, 2024, before its much-anticipated arrival in London's West End.
