Coronavirus / Covid-19 Advice for Theatregoers

Last updated 16 March 2020

Here's a short guide to help our customers navigate these exceptional times.

The situation is evolving daily and we strongly advise our users to make sure they make their own decisions and follow the advice of the appropriate experts.

Following advice issued by the UK Government this afternoon (March 16th, 2020), Ambassador Theatre Group has announced that all venues are now subject to closure until further notice to protect patrons, performers and staff.

The announcement comes as venues and performing arts organisations around the country have announced closures of their own amid rising concerns about the global coronavirus pandemic.

We aren't the venue

We are NOT a venue and can only assist with tickets purchased from this website. All other enquiries should be directed to the venue box office or appropriate ticket sellers themselves.

Attending a show

Theatres around the country are advising patrons who are showing signs of Covid 19 to stay home. This includes those with general cold or flu symptoms.

Many theatres are also taking increased measures to ensure the continued safety of their patrons, including providing alcohol-based hand sanitizer for public use and increasing cleaning frequencies.

If you are feeling unwell, you should follow the advice of your local public health authority.

Changing/cancelling your tickets

Should your event be cancelled by the venue, then our support team will contact you with information on how to proceed depending on whether the event can be rescheduled, or whether it is to be cancelled. Please always quote your booking reference in any communications with us.

If your event has been postponed or rescheduled, your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. For some rescheduled events, the primary source of the tickets will reissue all previously purchased tickets with new bar codes. If this occurs we will deliver new tickets to you and remind you to discard your old tickets.

Please note that if you wish to cancel your ticket and the event has not been cancelled by the official venue, we will not be able to issue you with a refund.
