Bit disappointed. Over priced. Some good voices

HELP
Sadly, nothing like its stage presence or musically, like the Noel Coward Theatre production which was magical and completely edifying in every humanistic way possible. Breathtaking and deliciously Dylanesque In Every fibre of its beautiful being. What happened to its travelling counterpart? If it ain’t broke - don’t fix it. Bring back the cast - please, please, please me! Sorry, but it’s true. Sandra xxx

DEPRESSION ERA DEPRESSION
Yes the singing was wonderful and the musicians were fantastic. (Shame the song selection so obscure that many weren’t familiar to the less avid Dylan fan) But the production was so dark (literally) you couldn’t always see who was speaking. As above very hard to follow what was going on. Not sure how anyone could describe it as ‘uplifting’’. Only seen one play that left me feeling more depressed. Acting sadly variable, often not helped by fake American accents. Were all the National reviews based on a london production that was different as suggested above? I felt the cast were really working hard and talented but their success was limited by, frankly the script, songs, and poorly lit production.

Left at interval hard sorry to follow. Dont waste your money was so disappointing. Also poor acting and scenery very much like you were in a school play
Christine from Crickhowell
DISAPPOINTING
Was really looking forward to seeing this after reading some favourable reviews , however I was really unimpressed with this production as I thought that the narrative lacked a coherent thread , therefore it was difficult to understand the storyline, some of the diction was not very clear , the acting was wooden and the set and lighting were unimaginative. I was also looking forward to hearing some Dylan music , some of the vocalists were good but somehow the Dylan quality was lost in translation Decided to leave at the interval , and we were not the only ones !
from Bristol,
SO DISAPPOINTING.
At Bristol, the sound was poor, impossible to follow any story, acting amateurish, singing good but too much like show singing for me. Band exceptional. Many people walked out at the interval, so it was not just me. I stayed till the bitter end in case it got better. It didn't
