The most famous ballet in the world returns to Glasgow after its 2016 sold-out debut for a limited run across Scotland this spring!
This wistful rendition of Swan Lake is performed by the Scottish Ballet and choreographed by award-winning David Dawson. Accompanied by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra's delivery of the beautiful 1876 composition of Tchaikovsky, the dancers of the Scottish Ballet will leave you stunned and mesmerised as they tell the tragic love story of Odette and Siegfried.
Despite his dream being to marry for love, for Prince Siegfried this is not his mothers' plan. A swan hunt turning into a chance encounter with the cursed Odette leaves him believing that his dream will finally come true. What follows is a sorrowful tale of deception and betrayal told through the extraordinary movements of the Scottish Ballet performers.
