In the 100th year since its premiere, Puccini's last ever work, Turandot, comes to Scottish Opera with a brand new staging masterminded by celebrated director Sir David McVicar! His production chooses to willingly open the door to the darker elements of the tale, mining for new angles to Turandot and Prince Calaf and finding a moving story of two isolated figures transformed by resolve and empathy. Conducted by the capable hand of Stuart Stratford, Trine Brastrop Moller stars in the lead role in this unforgettable adventure, which includes one of opera's most beloved arias; "Nessun Dorma".
