What is the Story?

In Fuch's new staging, Club Amnesia's star performer Alcina is as tempting as she is cruel. Many have tried to claim her heart, but with her ability to control all around her, eventually she tosses all her lovers aside when the next hedonistic fix presents itself. When Ruggiero stumbles onto her island he is immediately drowned by her charms, and finally Alcina's defenses drop and her heart opens to tenderness. But when Ruggeiero's long-suffering fiancee comes to rescue him in disguise as a man, Alcina's wandering eye enters them all into an enchanted and accursed love triangle.
