Why see Aladdin?

A Cave of Wonders!

This year's glittering Glasgow panto production is none other than Aladdin! Hop onto a magic carpet ride full of classic panto joy and japery, starring Elaine C Smith (Rab C. Nesbit) and comedian Johnny Mac, with further cast details to be announced. Packed full with a lamp load of cracking songs, fantastic costumes and all-round family festive fun, join Aladdin as he sets out on a journey full of mystery, magic, and a bit of old-fashioned panto madness!

What's the story?

Promised treasure beyond his dreams, Aladdin sets off for the not at all creepy or ominous Cave of Wonders and steal a lamp for his morally ambitious benefactor. Once it has been recovered he realises he's been tricked, and is trapped in the crumbling cave facing his doom. But hope is not lost, when he accidentally rubs the lamp he frees its magical prisoner, a wish-granting Genie!

Aladdin Empire liverpool - Fanatastic

Saw the 2.30pm show on Saturday 4th January 2025. My daughter and I wanted to see Adam Strong as he is due to play Frank n furter in The Rocky Horror Show (he has some high heels to fill after Stephen Webb). We were wowed and can see why The Rocky horror company have chosen him for the role. The whole cast for Aladdin were energetic never faltered. Adam and Yeukai made a very positive and strong impression on young downs syndrome boy we met (clutching his Genie teddy) he was explaining the show to us in the interval. Well done to all. We saw Rocky Horror straight after at the playhouse. Both the Empire and the Play house looked after my daughter and I, we don't live in Liverpool.. but we will definitely be back ..thank you every one ... Read more
