Why see Irvine Welsh's Porno?
the trainspotting sequel
Following critically acclamied runs both in Glasgow and London, this vivid adaptation of Irvine Welsh's 2002 novel Porno returns to the King's Theatre for two nights only this spring! Set fifteen years after the events of Trainspotting, the unsettlingly funny sequel follows Renton, Sickboy and Begbie and Spud's exploits as they cross paths once more.
Porno was first revisited in 2017 on the big screen, titled T2 Trainspotting, but this adaptation is the allows audiences to see it up close and personal as a thrilling stage version. Featuring Chris Gavin as the unhinged Begbie, see why this fantastic new adaptation swept up the acclaim at the Fringe. And of course, you can expect content of a sexual nature, violence and plenty of extremely strong language.
