Stephen Greenhorn’s Sunshine on Leith returns to the Pavilion in Glasgow, staged by Glasgow theatre company Pantheon following their acclaimed We Will Rock You production! Bringing together a passionate local cast and creative team, the Scottish musical is built around the iconic songs of The Proclaimers, with a heartfelt story set to anthems including "I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”, “Letter From America” and, of course, “Sunshine On Leith”.

What Is The Story?

Sunshine on Leith tells the tale of service members and friends Ally and Davy, as they try to adjust back to normal life in Scotland following their military deployment in Afghanistan. As both of them settle into their new life paths and find themselves navigating new romances, their crossing paths with eventually force them to question who they really are, what “home” is and where they belong.
