PERFECT FOR SMALL CHILDREN
We took a 3 year old boy and 5 year old girl to see The Snowman in December 2007 and they absolutely loved it. The production was perfectly balanced and timed to engage both of them with some wonderful theatrical moments that the children loved. The flying sequences were wonderful and there is a great suprise at the very end, which I won't spoil, but will say that its worth getting seats in the middle front stalls section.

THE SNOWMAN - MAGICAL TIME
Myself & my Mum took my 6 year old and 2 year old daughters to this show back in December 2007 and what a fantastic show it was. I really thought my 2 year old would be bored but she was transfixed by it all and really upset when it ended - fabulous show and worth going to see again - in fact we have just booked again this December 2008. Enjoy !!!!

EVEN MORE MEMORABLE THE SECOND TIME AROUND
This was the second time I took one of my great nieces/nephews to see The Snowman. For them it was a magical experience. I have to say that there were some very young children in the audience and you could hear a pin drop, even the adults sat spellbound and I felt myself get quite emotional when the Snowman and the little boy started to fly. It is a must for all young children 3 years and upwards, it has everything - even an appearance from Santa Claus. I am waiting for the rest of my great nieces/nephews to grow a little older so I can take them and repeat the experience. Definitely a five star rating!

SUPERB. GO AND SEE IT
Our little girl (4) adored this show and so did we. Magical, moving and at times very funny, this is a wonderful treat for the whole family. Re the other reviews on this page: good advice about sitting in the stalls, I agree it gives the best view; and, with respect, the lady who couldn't get to the show due to the weather is being somewhat unreasonable - would expect the theatre to refund in comarable situations, e.g. if you were ill, stuck in traffic, flight delayed?

HARSH REVIEW
having just read the review of roberto,s visit to the show 7/12/2012, i find it very hard to see how a show that has run for 13 years detereate so quickly.having been associated with the show (my grandson lewis coppen)has played the main part for the previouse four years all over the world, with rave reviews, about the whole production, i suggest roberto is a very hard person to please.

WONDERFUL
This is a wonderful show and my four year old loved it. Magical. Love the fact that it is so kid friendly as well.

FANTASTIC!
My (nearly) 3yo nephew and 5yo niece utterly loved this! Nephew was enthralled the entire way through, niece loved dancing and costumes. Can't recommend enough. Planning on taking my 1yo daughter Xmas this year! Think she'll love it too. I'd say 5 is on the edge of the age group. A little older and it will lose some of the kiddy magic :-)

FANTASTIC FAMILY FUN
Took my elderly mother to see the show and she loved it. Wonderful costumes, simple yet effective sets, with clever use of shadow images and some very talented performers, especially liked the Snowman himself, Jack Frost, and Santa! Be prepared for a little distraction form the younger members of the audience, it's a family show after all,but still worth watching if you enjoyed the book and like simple, light-hearted theatre. Second half best by far, especially if the audience gets involved by clapping along!

VERY GOOD
December 2010. We took our 4 year old daughter to see this show as a part of her Christmas present and she like it very much. I was a little bit worried about our seats, we had dress circle C12, 13 and 14 and they were absolutely fine. I wouldn't have a problem getting the same seats again. Nice show, kids will love it.

SNOW INSIDE.SNOW OUTSIDE..
I took my 4year old Spanish granddaughter, who isn't speaking English yet, It was perfect for her,she sat still all the way through .my son had booked front row,but it was difficult for a small child to see,she was able to stand infront of the orchestra pit or sit on my thick .coat. She loved it with the fake snow ,but unbeknown to us it was really snowing outside, the first real snow she had seen,an amazing ,perfect, evening

THE THEATRE NEED TO MANAGE
Attended performance Dec 2022 the production was amazing. The audience were awful. Staff allowed a constant flow of late comers which interupts the audience members who do arrive on time. When the audience is made up of children every late comer distracts. There was also lots of eating not of snacks but baguettes, pizza and even a thermos of soup. The person in front of us was videoing the show on their phone - words fail me. I appreciate that the staff can't be responsible for the behaviour of patons but they can ensure that basic theatre etiquette is enforced and upheld!

JUST NOT THAT GREAT (AND FAR TOO LONG)
Took my 3 year old. The first half was good. The flying sequence was very well done. But after the break the show lagged, the dances were unimaginative and the whole thing went on far too long. The dance scene at the North Pole with Jack Frost (where did he come from?) could have been cut to a few minutes but just went on and on and on... Sometimes, less is more!

DISAPPOINTED
Sorry. Very disappointed. I was expecting a great performance but I saw weak dancers, but I presume the company thinks .. Matinee & a show for children is not so important. The dances were unintersting, the staging old fashioned., the Musik middle of the road, the costumes unimaginative!. Shame!

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Definately for under 5's, I have never been to a theatre where so many people are allowed to arrive late and disturb te whole audience!. You would need to be insane to see any talent in this show whatsoever. The main boy could barely act, let alone dance, the ballerina lost her poise and balance more than my grandma after a sherry at Christmas and the lack of connection between the choreography and the orchestra was pitiful. My only praise was to the costume deigner. Great animals

VERY POOR DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME
Turned up on 22 Dec 2021 half an hour before show to be told by a very nice security guard show cancelled, despite the fact the decision had been taken the day before and they had our contact details. No mention on website. Judging by the amount of people we weren’t the only ones. Our boys (2.5 and 4.5) were very disappointed so we rebooked for next week. My youngest needed a booster seat and upon enquiring had to pay £3 for a tiny inflatable snowman ‘cushion’. It was a waste of time. Luckily he was happy to sit on my lap. Good points first. The boy in the lead role was superb, dancers all very good and famous ‘walking in the air’ scene very well done. On the downside, the show is very dated and the addition of the sexual misfit, Jack Frost, just weird. When the Scottish snowman head butted Jack Frost to protect the ice maiden it left me in disbelief. And penguins in the North Pole, really? Do your homework. Avoid at all costs.
